Founded in 1951, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists is the specialty's premier professional membership organization dedicated to the improvement of women's health. ACOG has 12 districts and 98 sections that represent various geographical regions, countries, territories, and states in North and South America.
As a single state district, Texas is made up of five sections, representing Fellow and Junior Fellow members across the state.
